The Bulletin

I’m an active member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) and have really enjoyed reading their magazine, called The Bulletin. A new president was elected some months ago and SFWA’s magazine has gone in a wonderful new direction. I was interested in it before, but now it is so informative. I read it cover to cover and love the articles. There is a lot of fantastic information contained within the pages. Some libraries have it, or you can get a year’s subscription (6 issues), but if you are a serious writer it’s worth a look. It’s also stocked on some magazine racks.

Go to to check it out. Anyone can join SFWA as a participating member, you don’t have to be published, and the membership fee isn’t bad. I went to World Con last year for the first time, and being a SFWA member had its advantages. Getting into the SFWA suite for the parties made me feel cool.

Anyway, check out SFWA and The Bulletin:

Happy writing,
